Keith Raniere is an ethicist, systems thinker, visionary and scientist. Praised as one of the top intellects in the world, he is also an athlete, critical thinker, master coach, and entrepreneur. Apparatus for conferencing, comprising: a host computer; at least two storage devices, each said storage device storing a set of data objects retrieved from the host computer for a conference, each said storage device located at a respective user site, and each said storage device having a storage system for data object storage; a display system, operationally attached to at least one storage device; a network for interconnecting the user site into the conference; wherein the user site includes: (i) a system for selecting a data object from the set of data objects; (ii) a control signal generator for transmitting a control signal indicating the selected data object to other user sites; (iii) a receiver for receiving the control signal, the selected data object being displayed on the display system in response to the control signal.
